Simulation of vibration processes in a technological system in turning machining of polymeric materials

Various plastics have found wide use in the commercial production. More than 40 % of all plastics in machine- and shipbuilding are accounted for by polymers. The machining of polymeric materials is considerably different from steel processing. Dynamic features of a technological system with cut processing of polymers and metals (steels) are considered and a potential effect of such discrepancies on the quality after processing is analyzed.
