Application of simulation modeling to the forecast of marine water quality

This study is based on the background theory and available marine water quality observations. The random walk approach is used to develop a model applied for long-term prediction of marine water quality in shallow waters. The model makes it possible to simulate variable hydrological situations, reactive solutes, interaction between different solutes with liquid and solid boundaries. The situation is illustrated by the modeling for the Amur Bay (Primorsky Region, Russia). Features of the long-term water quality forecast model are shown. The model predicts the variable state of the pollution degree in the Amur Bay.
