Composition Methods of Temples Plac-ing in the Structure of the Far Eastern Settlements (the Second Half of the XIXth - Beginning of the XXth Centuries)
In the Far East of Russia during the period from 1852 till 1917 there was an active construction of orthodox religious structures. The erection of the first temple of any settlement was carried out simultaneously with the foundation and construction of the settlement itself. Great attention was paid to the perception of the outline of the religious structures in the surrounding area of the city environment. Every city has its own distinctive method of the temple placing, which harmonically took into account the structure of a natural relief.
