Development of Civilization Approach to the Historical Process in A. Toynbees Philosophy

The future of methodology of historical process comprehension will depend on the fruitful dialogue between various approaches and models developed in the field of social - humanitarian knowledge. Arnold Toynbees ecumenical idea and his concept of the conflict of civilizations allow to speak about the synthesis of linear and civilization approaches to the historical process.
