Structural data ordering for problems in information-measurement systems

Compressing the measuring signal is one of the urgent tasks of modern information-measurement systems. Compression methods now in use deal mainly with a linear presentation of measured data. The proposed method allows one to implement the optimum algorithms for conversion of the one-dimensional presentation of the measuring signal into two-dimensional form with a view to improving the efficiency of compression.
