Problems of Formation of Financial Culture of the Population of Russia through the Prism of Sociological Researches

The article deals with the problems of formation of financial culture of the popu-lation of Russia at the present stage of development. Financial culture is a part of culture of society which develops with building up monetary relations in society. In modern society the development of financial culture depends in many respects on financial institutions functioning in a society, on level of financial literacy of population, and also on social values which dominate in this society. In the Rus-sian society there are objective conditions and subjective reasons which cause problems in forming developed financial culture.
