LEGAL REGULATION OF OPERATIONS ON STORAGE OF CARGO REALIZED BY THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE RAILWAY

During rendering services for storage of cargo on railway in the Russian empire the social relations between carriers and cargo owners were formed. These relations had the certain specificity caused by peculiarities of this type of carriage. Legal regulation of such relations was carried out within the framework of special rules. These rules determined norms which are distinct from civil statutes and consider the peculiarities of rendering the given type of services by railway.
