ART IMAGE IN FASHION

Fashion is one of the art activity categories. Fashion creates generalized fashion-able image which is closely connected with art image. Key elements of art im-age such as cognitive, regulating, communicative ones exist in the holistic unity. Fashion image uses these peculiarities and becomes one of the main forms of communication in culture. Fashion image is a part of the modern art. The art of the XX century refused beauty portrayal. Fashion image substitutes art image in culture and forms culture beauty world. Fashion imagery allows to understand cultural meanings of this phenomenon.
