STUDY OF ANTIFRICTION POLYMERIC GRADIENT COMPOSITES ON THE BASIS OF EPOXY RESINS PREPARED BY CENTRIPETAL FORMATION

The life and reliability of machines and equipment that work at heavy loads, extreme temperatures, and twenty-four-hour 3-shifts depend to a great extent on the life and reliability of bearings and friction units, among them slide bearings. Those bearings operate, as a rule, under hard lubricating conditions, heavy loadings, in abrasive surroundings, and so on. So it is very important to apply reliable and inexpensive materials in these units. This research is devoted to the development of such materials.
