INCREASE IN AVERAGE SPEED OF VEHICLES ON DANGEROUS ROAD SECTIONS

The article carries out the analysis of the increase in actual speed of a vehicle en rout due to increase of speed on the dangerous road sections. Eight factors that influence the average speed on a dangerous road section are established. It was discovered that the road conditions, climatic and natural changes, and the phycological state of the driver influence to a great degree the average speed on roads in the Far Eastern Federal District. Three ways are proposed to increase the average speed on dangerous road sections: to improve the vehicle construction; to equip the road with necessary facilities; to use individual means, improving psycho-physiological state of a driver.
