FEATURES OF THE METALLOTHERMIC REDUCTION OF TUNGSTEN OXIDE IN IONIC MELTS

Features of restoration of tungsten oxide by aluminum in the environment of melts of a carbonate and sodium chloride are observed. The thermodynamic estimation, a thermal analysis of reaction of restoration is given. Powders of tungsten with the specific surface making up magnitudes 4,5∙105м-1 (Na2CO3) and 21,1∙105м-1 (NaCl) are obtained.

Keywords: ionic melts, tungsten powders, aluminum, granulometric characteristics.
