The thermal effect on the elastic properties of muscovite crystals

The authors analyze using the dynamic method of thermal effect influence on the elastic properties of muscovite crystals. The propagation velocity of the ultrasonic vibrations was determined and the modules of elasticity in the cleavage plane and transversely to it were calculated. The given model describes experimentally discovered features of changing the elastic characteristics of the muscovite during thermal and elastic influences.
