Use of step-by-step simulation at the solution of problems with unilateral constraints and Coulomb’s friction

A numerical approach is proposed to the solution of problems with unilateral constraints and Coulomb’s friction, behind which is a step-by-step modeling of the contact interaction with the use of frame-type finite contact elements. The algorithm proposed is applied for the calculation of a real structure.
