Empirical Study of Women Reproduction Motivations

In the paper the results of a poll conducted in the Perinatal Center (Center for Maternity and Childhood Protection) are presented. 100 pregnant women in the different stages of pregnancy (from 3 up to 9 months) participated in the poll. The age of those to be polled was within the limits of 18 till 42 years. The reasons and motives for baby birth for various age and social groups of women were analyzed. The comparison of extrinsive and intrinsive motivation was made.
