Construction of the Image of the Far Eastern Region as a Sociological Task

The paper is devoted to the image of region as a basis of social identification of its population as well as a basis of overcoming of migratory readiness of region population. The varieties of the Far East images functioning in the region and beyond are analyzed in the article. Those types which mostly correspond to the tasks of organizing the social communication in the Russian Far East are selected.
