SYSTEM OF SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND ANTI-INSTITUTIONS

The social institute is characterized by presence of regular and long-term social practices. These practices are supported by social norms which are important for the structure of society. In contemporary society the process of deinstitutionalization and the appearance of anti-institutions may be observed. This process is accompanied by substitution of general rules by personal relationships, mass failure of observe the laws, no-confidence to any authority except the highest one and prevalence of shadow economy.
