HARDENING OF BAND SAWS WITH ELECTROSPARK PROCESSING

Hardening of cutting tools of bandsaw machines with formation on their working surfaces of functional covers with electro spark processing is investigated. The electrode materials providing enhancement of wear resistance of band saws and also technological modes of electro spark processing for the formation of coverings of high durability and smaller roughness are established.
