SMOKE DETECTION ON VIDEO WITH WAVELET TRANSFORM USAGE

Smoke detection at early stages of fire reduces negative impacts. Video cameras and effective video sequences processing used for smoke detection make it possible to solve the problem. The proposed algorithm contains a sequence of steps using the background subtraction model and wavelet transform.

Keywords: Image processing, video sequences, smoke detection, wavelet transform.
