LOW POWER ELECTRIC DRIVE WITH IMPROVED POWER CHARACTERISTICS

A method for stabilizing the rotational frequency of a single-phase commutator motor based on the positive feedback to the decrease rate of EMF self-induction is proposed. The proposed method has been tested on a mathematical model and schematic realization of the apparatus with which the proposed method can be implemented is given. The optimum control technique for the motor in terms of minimizing the energy loss is provided. Energy characteristics of the developed control system are studied as well.
